Filipinos always find ways to excel in their own field not only in the Philippines but around the world. The love, passion and hard work mainly are the ingredients for their success.They may not all be full-bloodied Filipinos, some are half-bloodied, but for sure they're the best among their fields and that makes every Filipino proud of them. So here's my list of famous Filipinos around the world.
1. Manny Pacquiao - the pound for pound king still remains humble after all what he accomplished, that's why he is loved by his countrymen.
2. Lea Salonga - she is one of the many Filipinos who first made names around the world by playing Kim in Miss Saigon.
3. Charice Pempengco - the youtube singing sensation, now, a known pop singer and actress.
4. Apl de Ap (Allan Pineda) - the Black Eyed Peas member, who is always proud to be a Filipino.
5. Erik Spoelstra - the present Miami Heat coach, the love for basketball is what Coach Erik and Filipinos have in common.
6. Monique Lhuillier - her styles and designs left the Hollywood stars saying "Wow."
7. Arnel Pineda - his voice carries him to Journey, the band, as its lead singer.
8. David Bautista (Batista) - Batista made his mark when he entered the World Wrestling Entertainment. Bacause of charisma and powerful moves, many Filipino children idolize him.
9. Cristeta Comerford - Cris, the White House Executive Chef, shows that Filipinos are really great and tasty brew.
10. Efren "Bata" Reyes - they call him "the magician", because of his extraordinary shots in billards.
